Simulation and verification have been a core part of the design flow for most SoC designs. However, those flows are becoming increasingly more complex as the number of IPs in a design increase, as well as the number of use cases and scenarios to be verified.
While EDA vendors have offered cloud-based solutions for some time now, many of these solutions lack the essential capabilities required for simulation and verification. This is especially true for full-chip simulation and emulation where millions of instances must be run simultaneously to achieve the throughput required by today's complex designs.
